Our philosophy at
SERENITY SOAPS AND BOTANICALS is to bring you premium quality soap
and other body products at a reasonable price.
We start with our
healthy formulations, using pure, food-quality, natural ingredients
like olive oil, cocoa, avocado and shea butters, real vanilla, honey
and Vitamin E. Several varieties of our soaps do contain fresh
goat's milk. We use organic herbs and spices in our soaps whenever
possible; many of them we grow ourselves! Organic almond shells or
oats are used in some bars as a gentle exfoliant. Spices such as
sage, paprika, cinnamon, and turmeric add color and texture.
We do
not use synthetic fragrance, instead we lusciously and naturally
scent with costly premium-quality essential oils!
We also make unscented varieties of soap, lotion and shampoo.
Then we cold process our soaps and shampoo, retaining all of the
glycerin created in the soap-making process. The natural glycerin
leaves your skin wonderfully soft and smooth, instead of dry and
flaky like mass-produced soap.
In fact, many mass-produced
ˇ°soapsˇ± contain detergents and are made from inferior fats and
various chemicals. Read the labels on your store bought ˇ°soapsˇ± and
shampoo. They sound like the
ingredient list for a chemistry experiment, many containing paraben,
formaldehyde and other carcinogens. As part of our strict quality
control, every batch is cured in our own handmade molds, dried and
pH tested. We weigh every bar of soap to assure that you get the
amount, or more, that you paid for. To encourage others to explore
the craft of soap making, we offer three of our most popular molds
for sale. Each is handcrafted by our local artisans and shipped with
instructions and a simple soap recipe.
